Paying Your Bill


Washington Utilities offers several convenient options for payment of your utility bill:

  • Pay over the internet
    Use your VISA or MasterCard credit or debit card to pay your Washington Utilities bill over the internet at www.washington-nc.com. You also can look up information about your utility account and apply for new utility service online.*
  • Mail payments to Washington Utilities at P.O. Box 2226, Washington, NC 27889.
  • Pay from your car
    A curbside payment box is located on Market Street across the street from the Municipal Building.
  • Pay in person at the Washington Municipal Building, 102 E. Second Street
    Use the convenient one-hour parking next to the building.
  • Pay by credit or debit card
    Now accepting VISA or MasterCard credit or debit cards for Washington Utilities payments.*

Washington Utilities also offers bank drafting for automatic payments and budget billing for equal payments year-round. Call Customer Service at (252) 975-9300 about these options.*

*NOTE: Online payment option, First Citizen payment option, payment by debit or credit card and budget billing are not available for Beaufort County Water customers.
